Everyday Glowy Makeup

I did a little post on my everyday make-up about six months ago... and nothing much has changed! But I have been trying out a few products here and there, so there are some new things to talk about for my everyday make-up, as well as those products that seem to be sticking around for now. I was going to name this post my everyday summer make-up, but I know that it isn't summer everywhere in the world, so this is the make-up I do to get glowy skin and a somewhat fresh feel - devoid of heavy liquid eyeliner for now (grudgingly).

Base: My fail-safe foundation is definitely Rimmel's Match Perfection Foundation. It is a pale foundation, which is mainly why I like it, and it makes your skin look super glowy and nice. It is a pretty light coverage, so if I'm not having a good skin day, safe to say I have to use a fair bit of concealer, but this evens out my skin tone as a start. I then use two concealers: one for brightening and one for blemishes. I have been using the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer for ages now, and I find it's great coverage for under the eye. It's super easy to blend and it doesn't crease. Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer is my choice for blemishes, (not that you can see it though, the packaging has rubbed off and this one is almost empty) as I find it has a high coverage and is a good colour for me. I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to make sure I don't look too shiny.

Eyebrows/Eyes/Blush: For eyebrows I have been reaching for the L'Oreal Brow Plumper Kit* in Light/Medium for a softer brow over my beloved Anastasia Brow Wiz. I just use the kit brush and put some of the powder through my brows (there is also a wax) to fill in any sparse areas. I'd say it's quicker than using the Anastasia product so I will use the L'Oreal one when I want to be quick. No doubt my favourite mascara to use has been the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. It is really good at lengthening and thickening lashes - it's just such a good all-rounder. I also have been using this NYX Felt Tip Liner on my eye line (not winging it out too much) and it's provided a bit of a thicker look to my lashes. However, I probably wouldn't recommend this one to you though - it dries out quite quickly. I'm just using it because it's what I have at the moment. Lastly out of this bunch I have to talk about Benefit's Sugarbomb Blush which comes in their Sugarlicious Lip + Cheek Kit. It's the perfect peachy pink little number.

Lips, etc: I got the Daisy rollerballs from Marc Jacobs for Christmas, so if I use perfume, it will be one of these. This one is the Daisy Eau so Fresh. Side note: The primer I use before my foundation is the L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Base Primer* as I find it makes my base look less shiny (but still glowy). Then another L'Oreal product - this time in the form of a lipstick - the L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Brick Fashion Week (234)*. When I tried this for the first time I fell in love as it's a pretty orange which can be bold but also toned down by patting it into your lips. I don't usually go for orange lipsticks but this one is really nice and not too orange (it looks quite different in the photo compared to real life). To add to the glowy look, a summer essential for me this year is definitely Benefit's High Beam which comes in the Sugarlicious Lip + Cheek Kit. It's so so pretty!

So there you go - that's what I've been putting on my face recently.
