I think it's so important to make time for reading. Often I get sick of looking at a laptop screen or phone all day, and I just need to do something that doesn't require technology. I think reading can be such a rewarding and fun thing to dedicate a lot of time to. This year more than ever I have been trying my best to read as much as possible and it's one of the best things I could have done. Every day life can mean you don't really have time for reading (or you say you don't), so here are some places/ways you can get your reading on. Stat.
Reading on Public Transport: Reading when you can't do much else, or you're forced to stay in one place for a fixed amount of time, is a really good way to get reading done. When I was at Uni, I started doing this near the end of the semester, and honestly I think I'm going to have to do it more next year when I go back.
Reading in the bath: This is something I have always done and it works so well when you're trying to get back into reading. Just think: you're forced to stay still and soak for anything from half an hour to a couple of hours, and with the book in your hands and bubbles around you, you pretty much can't not read. It's relaxing and I get quite a lot of reading done in the tub. Most of the time I take a bath just to get some reading done.
Reading before bed: Bit of an expected one, but reading before bed is really nice. Once you get hooked, you'll probably stay up 'til 3am wanting to find out what happens. The best way to feel tired in the morning, I think. As I said before, it's just nice to not use technology for hours on end before going to sleep, (not that I don't, all the time) but it's a good habit to get into. It will probably make you more sleepy as well.
Reading in public places: e.g. the park, in between Uni breaks, at the beach, etc. Having a book in your bag at all times is a pretty good idea as you might have some time to kill during the day, and what better thing to get out your book and finish off a few pages? I want to do more of that this summer, especially at the beach and park.
Anything to add?
