I didn't take my camera out for all of the days I had away in Australia as generally that can be quite a nuisance, but for the days I did, there was usually a beautiful beach to take photos of. A lot of the places we went reminded me of other places I had been, and I realised a lot of the time, New Zealand is quite similar - just less dry and colder. As I have mentioned in a couple posts back, this holiday was all about relaxing and not doing much. It was very low key and the perfect little break before what I'm experiencing now; art board deadlines and upcoming exams.
One of the best places we went was driving up to this little lighthouse, taking loads of photos and exploring on the rocks. Another good memory was having lunch at this little beach town and acting like lunatics on the playground swings. Generally, it was all very fun and beautiful. We rented out a little house which was probably better than a hotel room. It had it's own pool which was surprisingly really cold even though it was in the high 20s and low 30s for most of the time. One of my favourite times was going into Sydney where we shopped until our feet hurt (I lay in bed with what felt like growing pains that night) and having lunch down at Darling Harbour, and also catching the train there and back listening to Ed Sheeran, it all felt like a very movie-like moment. I still have my main haul coming up where I show you the clothes I bought in Sydney. I managed to get this up sooner than expected thanks to an early Sunday morning, so expect the haul sometime next weekend.
